Hello Future for Vogue

A generative fashion NFT collection for Vogue's curated digital marketplace.

Hello Future / Future Now takes place on an imaginary space catwalk in the not too distant future. Inspired by computational art, dance music aesthetics and op-art fashion, the collection consists of 10 NFTs: nine complementing outfits and a tenth encore ensemble.

Stripped of excess detail, the monochromatic feature-scapes lean into a science-fiction techno-utopia. The work references the history of computation and generative algorithms while paying homage to figures who shaped generative expression, including Sebastien Truchet, Vera Molnar and Sol LeWitt.

A historical document of the transition from physical to virtual.

The project frames this moment as a second enlightenment: a period of cultural, artistic, political and economic rebirth. The show takes place inside a giant torus, the default shape of many 3D packages, while android models move from darkness into light and back again, from analogue to digital, and from physical to virtual.

The collection was conceived to launch Vogue's new curated digital marketplace, Brytehall, and used fashion as a way into a broader conversation about computation, virtual identity and future culture.
